Clothing Bank

Clothing Bank

Give your pre-loved clothes a new life—donate and help others.

At Wimbledon Mosque, we are committed to supporting those in need through various initiatives, including our Clothing Bank Donation Point, which has been set up by the UK-registered charity Islamic Relief. This facility provides the local community with an easy and convenient way to donate essential clothing and textiles to those in need. The donation point is located at the rear of the Wimbledon Mosque car park, making it easily accessible for those wishing to contribute.

Items Accepted for Donation

We welcome donations of the following clean and usable items:

✅ Clothing (all types for men, women, and children)

✅ Towels

✅ Sheets

✅ Blankets

✅ Curtains

✅ Shoes (in pairs and in good condition)

These essential items are collected and redistributed to assist individuals and families facing hardship.

Important Donation Guidelines

✅ Please ensure all donated items are clean, in good condition, and placed inside the designated donation bank.

✅ We kindly request that only the listed items are donated. Any other items left outside the donation point may cause inconvenience and require additional resources from the Mosque to clear.

✅ If the donation bank is full, please refrain from leaving bags outside and consider returning at another time.

Collection & Distribution

Islamic Relief, the organization responsible for the donation bank, collects the items once a month. The donated clothing and textiles are then sorted and distributed through their network to provide assistance to those most in need.

Make a Difference Today

By donating your pre-loved clothing and textiles, you are helping to provide warmth, dignity, and relief to those in need. We encourage everyone in the community to participate and turn their unused items into a valuable act of charity.

If you have any questions about the donation process, please feel free to contact the mosque for further information.
